An independent player guide
Dressmaker Guide is an unofficial reference for Dressmaker (针影裁梦), with no affiliation to Cozy Lives or Free Lives. Game names, characters, item images and official screenshots belong to their respective rights holders. Guide writing and page organization are independently prepared.
Version covered
The catalog was checked on 24 September 2026 against Steam build 25482629, with game resource version 405.56decad. The earlier official Build 403 announcement remains evidence for the changes it describes; it is not presented as the local build number.
What is included
The catalog contains 348 fabrics, 330 accessories, 157 dress pieces, 10 customers and 77 regular commissions: 53 main commissions and 24 side commissions. English and Chinese item names come from the same build’s official localization. Relationships, budgets and unlock requirements are cross-checked against game data and relevant game logic.
Editor-only hidden items, test and demo entries, and pieces without a normal unlock reference are excluded. Gift and special finale commissions are not counted among the 77 regular commissions. No full game package, dialogue script or decompiled program is offered for download.
Reading the values
Fabric, lace and trim prices are in coins per metre; other accessories are priced per item. Prestige and customer relationship levels are different unlock requirements. Style tags are positive or negative scoring weights, not probabilities or final whole-dress scores. Requirements affected by dialogue choices are grouped separately.
Fabric swatches combine the game’s material texture and color. They do not simulate in-game lighting, sheen or normal maps. Entity-to-image mappings have been checked, but every item and commission has not been individually play-tested. Later updates may change these values.
